15 Stunning & Most Private Places to Elope in Turks and Caicos

Located off the coast of Cuba & Haiti, the Turks & Caicos are 40 miles of pure relaxation. As a self-professed connoisseur of places with warm weather and beautifully clear water, this is a favorite of mine! I would recommend the Turks & Caicos to couples who want to really luxuriate on their wedding day, slow down, and take it all in in a location with unreal levels of beauty.

Grace Bay has been voted one of the best beaches over and over again, and it’s a perfect spot for an elopement for that very reason. You can expect soft sand, incredibly gentle waves due to a reef off the coast, and no trees or rocks blocking your view. Just uninterrupted horizon as far as you can see.

But even if Grace Bay is the focus of your elopement, you can fill the rest of your trip with even more super gorgeous spots. I’m including my top 15 below—consider this your insider highlights list!

Have you heard about my elopement location database? It’s packed with over 600 spots from all over the world and lets you filter by season, scenery, and activities. To be taken to it, click here!

Grace Bay, Turks & Caicos

A serene beach scene with turquoise waves gently lapping onto a sandy shore under a clear blue sky. A few small clouds dot the horizon, and two palm trees are visible in the distance on the right side of the image.

Grace Bay is one of those places that looks straight out of a travel magazine, and it’s even better in person – promise! If you have never been to Turks & Caicos, this place is a fabulous introduction to what this island chain has to offer! The sand is impossibly soft and white, the water is every shade of blue, and thanks to a barrier reef offshore, the waves barely make a ripple. That means you can float, paddle, or swim in total peace, saying your vows with nothing but the sound of the breeze and gentle lapping of the water in the background. If you want peak weather without peak crowds, March and April are the sweet spot.

Chalk Sound National Park, Turks & Caicos

Aerial view of a coastal landscape featuring a striking contrast between vibrant turquoise water on the left and reddish-brown water on the right in Chalk Sound National Park, Turks & Caicos. The scene is divided by green vegetation and sandy areas, set under a clear blue sky.

This lagoon is straight-up electric blue, with tiny limestone islands dotting the shallow water as far as the eye can see. The entire area is a protected national park, so you won’t find motorized boats here – just kayaks, paddleboards, and total rest and relaxation. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to stop and just take it all in, which also makes it an unreal elopement spot. You’ll get some of the most out-of-this-world elopement photos here! Finding a secluded cove and having an entire slice of paradise to yourselves is a must-do during your elopement getaway here.

Best for: Coast, Islands, Lagoon, Forest

My favorite activities to do here: Hiking, Kayaking

Little Ambergris Cay, Turks & Caicos

Aerial view of an island surrounded by turquoise water, with a partly cloudy sky in Little Ambergris Cay, Turks & Caicos. The island has rocky areas and sparse vegetation. The tip of an airplane wing is visible in the bottom of the image.

This tiny, ultra-exclusive private island is the definition of an escape, with sandbars that disappear into the ocean and water so clear it looks fake. Little Ambergris Cay is all about privacy (there’s only one eco-luxury resort here), so it’s just you, your partner, and miles of untouched nature.. If a “castaway, but make it luxury” elopement sounds like your vibe, this is the place for it.

Best for: Private Island, Beach and Coast

My favorite activities to do here: Hiking, Kayaking, Boating, Swimming, Paddleboarding, Stargazing

Half Moon Bay, Turks & Caicos

Tropical beach with turquoise waves crashing against rocky shore in Half Moon Bay, Turks & Caicos. Palm trees and vegetation line the sandy edge, under a clear blue sky with a few clouds.

Half Moon Bay is only accessible by boat, which automatically makes it feel extra special and extra exclusive. Surrounded by uninhabited cays, this secluded sandbar gives you the best of both worlds – calm, shallow water on one side and rolling waves on the other. There’s even a hidden lagoon tucked behind the dunes, where you can sometimes spot rock iguanas basking in the sun. Your options for getting here are by private charter or kayaking over from Providenciales, but the journey is 100% worth the effort.

Best for: Lagoon, Iguana’s, Beach and Coast

Governor’s Beach, Turks & Caicos

A serene beach scene with turquoise waters gently lapping against a sandy shore on Governor's Beach, Turks & Caicos. The sky is dotted with fluffy clouds, and trees cast shadows on the sand.

If you’re after that perfect, no-filter-needed beach setting, Governor’s Beach delivers – soft white sand, water so clear it looks Photoshopped, and a vibe that’s somehow both luxurious and laid-back. Despite being near the cruise port, this spot stays shockingly quiet, making it a dream for an intimate elopement. You can swap vows with your feet in the sand, then celebrate with fresh conch fritters from a nearby shack. People get around via golf cart here (so fun!), so rent one for yourselves, explore Grand Turk’s hidden corners, and toast the sunset with a rum punch.

Conch Bar Caves, Turks & Caicos

A cave interior with rough, jagged rocks and a shallow pool of water in Conch Bar Caves, Turks & Caicos. The cave walls have red and greenish hues, creating a mysterious ambiance. Stalactites hang from the ceiling, and sunlight subtly illuminates parts of the cave.

If you want to add something completely different to your elopement day, the Conch Bar Caves are where it’s at. This is the largest cave system in the entire Caribbean, with stalactites, underground pools, and ancient petroglyphs telling stories of the Indigenous Lucayan people who once lived here. It’s not your typical beach wedding, and definitely not what springs to mind when you picture a Turks & Caicos elopement, but if you fancy a little history and adventure mixed in with your vows, this hidden world makes for an unbelievable setting. Bonus: the caves stay cool even when it’s blazing hot outside.

My favorite activities to do here: Hiking

Leeward Beach, Turks & Caicos

A large seashell rests on a sandy beach at sunset. The sun sets over the ocean, casting a warm glow across the sand and rocks on Leeward Beach, Turks & Caicos.

Tucked away on the northeastern tip of Providenciales, the ultra-secluded beach elopement of Leeward Beach is a total hidden gem. This stretch of sand is quieter than its famous neighbor, Grace Bay, but just as stunning. The water here is a ridiculously bright turquoise, and the beach is long, wide, and often empty – perfect for a private, toes-in-the-sand ceremony. Stick around after saying “I do” to take a boat tour through the nearby mangroves, where you might spot sea turtles and baby sharks gliding through the shallows. Pure paradise!

Mudjin Harbour, Turks & Caicos

A serene beach with clear turquoise waters and gentle waves in Mudjin Harbour, Turks & Caicos. The sandy shore is bordered by patches of green vegetation and a few rocky outcrops. The sky is mostly clear with a few fluffy white clouds.

Mudjin Harbour looks straight out of a dream. Dramatic limestone cliffs, hidden sea caves, and a perfect stretch of white sand meeting the clearest blue water you’ve ever seen. Located on Middle Caicos, this spot feels wild and untouched, with waves crashing against the cliffs and a narrow sandbar that disappears at high tide. The short hike to Dragon Cay gives you 360° views, and if you time it right, you can have the whole place to yourselves. Adventure elopement time!

Princess Alexandra National Park, Turks & Caicos

Aerial view of a vibrant turquoise river winding through dense green forest. The clear water contrasts sharply with the lush foliage, creating a striking natural scene in Princess Alexandra National Park, Turks & Caicos.

This protected paradise wraps around Grace Bay and the Caicos Cays, giving you miles of untouched coastline and reefs teeming with sea life. Whether you say “I do” on one of the dreamy white-sand beaches, hop on a boat to the mangroves, or take a private snorkeling tour through the coral gardens, this park delivers on every level. Keep an eye out for dolphins! They love to cruise through the bay and might just crash your wedding photos. Stick around for sunset when the sky turns pink over the endless turquoise water, and you’ll see why this is a top pick for an intimate island elopement.

Cedar Point Beach, Turks & Caicos

A serene beach scene with turquoise water gently lapping onto a sandy shore on Cedar Point Beach, Turks & Caicos. Sparse palm trees and greenery line the distant edge under a clear blue sky with a few scattered clouds.

For a total off-the-grid elopement, Cedar Point Beach on Middle Caicos is the definition of wild beauty. It’s at the far end of the island, past winding dirt roads and rugged coastline, but once you get there, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into another world. The sand stretches out in a long, curving arc, and the water is so clear you can see straight to the bottom. This is the kind of place where you bring a picnic, kick off your shoes, and soak it all in – just you, your partner, and the endless horizon.

My favorite activities to do here: Hiking, Sunbathing

West Caicos Marine National Park, Turks & Caicos

Underwater scene with sunlight filtering through water, illuminating a coral reef in West Caicos Marine National Park, Turks & Caicos. A vibrant orange coral stands prominently among various rocks and corals on the ocean floor, creating a peaceful and colorful marine landscape.

This uninhabited island is basically a giant underwater playground, making it an epic elopement spot for couples who love diving and marine life. West Caicos Marine National Park is home to some of the best dive sites in the Caribbean, where you can share your vows on a secluded beach before jumping into neon blue waters filled with patterned coral, sea turtles, and even the occasional reef shark. The island itself is untouched: just wild landscapes, limestone cliffs, and the sound of the ocean. You’ll need a boat to get here, but that just adds to the adventure.

North Bay Beach, Turks & Caicos

A serene coastal scene with turquoise waters and clear blue skies in North Bay Beach, Turks & Caicos. Two small rocky islands are covered with green vegetation. The foreground features a rocky shoreline with scattered stones and patches of sandy beach.

Eloping at North Bay Beach, part of the mind-bogglingly gorgeous Salt Cay, feels like stepping back in time – to an island where wild donkeys roam freely, there’s no rush, and the biggest decision of the day is whether to nap in the sun or take a dip in the impossibly blue water. It’s a hard life, right? Salt Cay is tiny, remote, and completely unbothered by the modern world, making this beach perfect for couples who want privacy without sacrificing beauty. And if you’re lucky enough to visit between January and April, you might just have whales breaching in the background as you say “I do”!

Admiral Cockburn Land and Sea National Park, Turks & Caicos

Aerial view of a coastal town with a beach lined by homes and greenery. The turquoise sea extends to the horizon under a partly cloudy sky, creating a serene coastal scene in Admiral Cockburn Land and Sea National Park, Turks & Caicos.

Admiral Cockburn flies under the radar, which means you’re not battling crowds for the best parts. This hidden gem has secluded white-sand beaches, hidden limestone caves, and unreal snorkeling spots where you can swim alongside sea turtles and rays, and even beaches you can only access by boat, to get even further away from others. This place really does take the definition of “elopement” and runs with it – it’s as far away from others as you can get

Crossing Place Trail, Turks & Caicos

A narrow, rocky path lined with lush green vegetation leads to a sandy beach by the ocean Crossing Place Trail, Turks & Caicos. The sky is partly cloudy, and the water is a mix of light and deep blue hues.

If the idea of hiking an actual historic trail to your elopement spot sounds cool, Crossing Place Trail is your place. This old trading route winds through epic coastal cliffs, rolling dunes, and hidden beaches, giving you a mix of impressive views and total, blissed-out seclusion. The real highlight is that the trail ends at Mudjin Harbor, a spot so ridiculously pretty it looks like a postcard come to life.

Cottage Pond, North Caicos, Turks & Caicos

A lush green lagoon surrounded by dense vegetation under a bright blue sky with scattered white clouds in Cottage Pond, North Caicos, Turks & Caicos. The water reflects the greenery and sky, creating a serene and tranquil scene.

Beach elopements are great, but if you want something totally different, Cottage Pond is where it’s at. This massive blue hole is tucked away in North Caicos, surrounded by greenery and giving major secret hideaway vibes. Nobody knows how deep it actually is (seriously –  divers have gone down over 250 feet), which just adds to the whole mystical, untouched feel of the place. It’s perfect if you’re looking to go beyond the classic Turks & Caicos waterfront elopement vibe. Afterward, head to Three Mary Cays for a sunset toast by the water.
