When Savannah first contacted me about photographing her wedding… I knew we would be a perfect fit. Her vision was an intimate ceremony with only her closest family and friends. With less than 20 people, it had the laid-back vibe of an elopement. Sprague Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park ended up being the perfect backdrop for their day. It was a risk getting married at 8,200 feet in May, but the weather held out and the snow-capped peaks behind the deck at their ceremony site made it look like a winter wonderland. They got ready at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park and had a magical first look. After the ceremony, they celebrated with BBQ and cupcakes on the picnic tables at Sprague Lake.
