    What does it mean to
    “Adventure Instead”?

    See for Yourself...

When you envision the day you & your partner get m When you envision the day you & your partner get married, what’s the feeling you’re after?

That, right there. That feeling, whatever it was, let that be the guiding factor in your decision making.

Yeah, getting married involves some decisions to be made and I’m gonna be honest, it can be hella overwhelming at times. But keep coming back to that feeling you're chasing.

The things that bring you closer to that feeling—do that, include that. Because at the end of the day, don’t you want to have a day where you feel _____?

A round of applause!!
If you love a good campfire moment, consider an ac If you love a good campfire moment, consider an accommodation with a fire ring! These two eloped in New Mexico and stayed at the cutest vintage trailer campground called Hotel Luna Mystica. They ended their wedding day snuggled up under the starry night sky, sipping champagne, and roasting s’mores.

What are some of the best and most meaningful ways that YOU can imagine wrapping up your elopement day? Because we believe that’s exactly how you should spend your time.

Have you ever considered visiting a vineyard on your wedding day? These two eloped in the Mendoza Valley of Argentina, a location famous for their Malbec wines.

After an adventurous day of exploring in the mountains by 4x4, they slowed things down for a late afternoon wine tasting in the sun. They even blended their own wedding day wine to take home with them!

As the sun went down, they were escorted to a private table set up just for them amongst the grape vines.

Cheers to spoiling yourself on your elopement day!

Those quiet getting ready moments matter too. Those quiet getting ready moments matter too.
Marie Kondo for wedding guests. Do they spark joy? Marie Kondo for wedding guests. Do they spark joy? 😝

Ask yourselves these two questions for every potential guest:
- Can I truly imagine myself getting married without this person present?
- Is this person going to come and celebrate you, bring you joy, take care of themselves, and be nothing but respectful and supportive?

If the answer to those two questions is “yes”, then we can’t wait to meet them.
Some elopement stories just stick with you. Like t Some elopement stories just stick with you. Like this morning, I was washing some blueberries for breakfast when I was transported back to the memory of Emily & Daniel’s elopement day in the North Cascades.

There were blueberry stains all over the bottom of her wedding dress from spending the most joyous morning on top of a mountain, eating wild blueberries by the handful. Even feeding one another a giant handful instead of cake and using blueberry juice as a substitute for ink to put their fingerprints on the corner of their marriage certificate.

Can you even imagine a more delightful way to spend your wedding day with *your* person? I was smiling and laughing so hard at times that my cheeks hurt.

And at the end of their day—after a morning in the mountains, a ceremony with family, and celebrations at a local brewery—Emily, Daniel and their entire family chanted my name as we parted ways, forming a line of arched arms for me to walk through. I couldn’t help but burst into tears from the immense amount of happiness that was this elopement day, this couple.

Days like this are what doing this incredible job is all about.

xx Tori
